Q. Do I need to pay extra if I choose more than one payment options? No extra charges if merchant request more than one payment option. iPay88 offers all in one online payment solution.
Q. Do I have to pay for bank or card company fees in additional of iPay88 transaction fee? No. iPay88 transaction fee is inclusive of the bank and card company charges.
Yes, but only limited to Online Debiting Service and E-Wallet service. Transfer fee applied.
Q: How secure and trustworthy is the iPay88 system? iPay88 is the same Online Payment Gateway System currently provided by many licensed Financial Institution. For that reason, stores can be certain of iPay88 security and database management. Besides, iPay88 complies with PCI Data Security Standard and Malaysia Payment System Act.
Q. Can iPay88 accept debit card? iPay88 cannot process Visa and MasterCard debit card at the moment.
Q. Can iPay88 accept prepaid Visa card & MasterCard? Yes.
Q. Can I sell anything through my website? iPay88 will not accept any application from the party involves in one of the following products, services and activities:

Payout of settlement sum to the merchant is on weekly basis. The settlement cut-off time of every week will be 24:00 (Malaysia Time) of every Sunday. iPay88 will deposit / transfer the weekly settlement sum into a designated bank account of the merchant within 5 working days after the weekly settlement cut-off day. The transaction will be settled in Malaysia Ringgit (MYR) and the place of settlement will be in Malaysia. It is recommended that the merchant should have its own account in the banks in Malaysia.
There is a minimum payout for settlement with amount of MYR 100.00. If the weekly settlement sum (after deducting the transaction fee) is lower than the minimum payout amount, iPay88 will hold the payout until next payout.
Q. Do I need to request for the payout? The payment will released automatically according the payout frequency. But some transactions may require proof of delivery for the payout. Besides, for the transaction processed via Virtual Terminal, payment authorized form (signed by card holder) is required for the payout.
Q. How do I need receive payment from iPay88? The payout will be reimbursed via cheque deposit or online fund transfer into merchant dedicated bank account. Additional charges (by bank) applied for online fund transfer if any.
Q. How can stores be sure that iPay88 will pay their income back to them in allotted time? After deciding to use the iPay88 service, stores needs to agree all terms and conditions of iPay88. The Terms and Conditions clearly defines in detailed and separate articles, that iPay88 will transfer money back to stores, defining the allotted time in which it is to be returned, plus any other relevant regulations. If iPay88 breaches the contract, stores can sue immediately. Besides, Mobile88.Com Sdn. Bhd. is a legally registered company with a fixed address.
Q. Can I request iPay88 to cancel a transaction or refund to customer? Merchant is allowed to refund particular transaction to the customer and cancel particular transaction by inform iPay88 to do so. Transaction fee and other fees are not applied here.
Q. Any single transaction limit? Every merchant account only allowed processing certain amount (in MYR) in every single transaction to minimize the risk. Single transaction limit may vary from merchant to merchant, based on the merchant's business setup, business modal, etc.
Q. Any monthly transaction limit? Every merchant account only allowed processing certain amount (in MYR) of transaction within a month. Monthly transaction limit may vary from merchant to merchant, based on the merchant's business setup, nature of business, etc.
Q. Can I request to increase the transaction limit? Yes, you can request it by sending an official request to us with the reason. The adjustment is subject to iPay88 Management Approval.
Q. How to terminate iPay88 service? Merchant can write in to terminate the account with 30 days prior notice. If the merchant terminates the account for any reason, iPay88 will hold back all funds for 180 days until technical windows for charge-back is closed (to provide cover for possible charge-backs).
Q. What is chargeback? Chargeback is the forced reversal of a transaction by your customer's card issuer. Chargebacks are raised when we receive notification from our bank that your customer's card issuer has received a 'notice of dispute' from your customer.
Q. What should I do if the chargeback case happened? The Merchant is responsible for all charge-backs as a result of disputes from their customer. The Merchant is strongly advised to keep records of every sale and delivery invoices (up to 18 months) to be produced as proof in the event of contesting the chargeback.
Q. Do I will impose chargeback fees if chargeback case happened? No chargeback fees will be imposes to merchant. However, iPay88 will hold the said amount until the case is settled. If the merchant charge-back level exceeds 1% for consecutive 3 months, the merchant account will be terminated.
Q. How can I view my transaction? You can view transaction via iPay88 online report system
Q. Do I need SSL when subscribe with iPay88? No, you do not need an SSL server in order to integrate your store with iPay88. All payment transactions take place on the iPay88 SSL server. But we encourage store to purchase SSL certificate to protect the purchase detail especially product pricing that transferred from your store to iPay88 system.
Q. How can I determine if my shopping cart compatible with iPay88? To determine if your shopping cart and website are compatible with iPay88, please contact your shopping cart vendor to find out if the shopping cart is configured to use iPay88 as a gateway. Our technical support team will assist you in this process.
Q. How to integrate my store with iPay88? You may refer to our technical spec. The technical spec. will be provided.
Q. I have more than one website. Can I link all their payment to one iPay88 merchant account? Yes. Merchant just pay additional MYR100 per domain name.
Q. What kind of fraud protection do you Offer? As a part of our service, all orders placed by a consumer are subjected to an automated fraud screening routine. This routine automatically examines each and every order placed. Suspect orders are reviewed by a trained member of our risk management team. These orders are canceled if they are fraudulent. If found that the order is suspected fraud, our risk management team will contact the store for further review and action. |
