The company was incorporated in Malaysia under the Companies Act, 1965 as a private limited company on 27 July 2000 with authorised capital of RM1 million and paid up capital currently stand at RM500,000. Mobile88 is an MSC status company, having been awarded the status by the Multimedia Development Corporation in 22 October 2002. The headquarters of the iPay88 is located at No.63 & 65, Jalan Jejaka 7, Taman Maluri, Cheras, 55100, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The company also operating the leading local IT technologies web portal (www.mobile88.com) in Malaysia since year 2000. The company started to provide Internet payment services named iPay88 to online retailers (e-tailers) or e-commerce merchants in the country by end of year 2006.
